Review: Uncle Grandpa ‘Uncle Grandpa for a Day’
Spoilers Below
Uncle Grandpa destroys this kid’s bike after he crashes his RV and gets his head caught in a peanut butter jar. If he doesn’t help this kid, his rep gets tarnished. To help, Gus and Pizza Steve disguise themselves as Grandpa and Belly Bag and meet up with Guillermo. Problem is, Steve and Gus need to get a new bike, but instead convince Guillermo to try out a garbage can as a replacement. Eventually, the duo convince the kid that his can can travel through time even though he can’t, but Guillermo wants to leap off of a mountain in the can. Thankfully, Uncle Grandpa saves the day and goes back in time to save Guillermo’s bike.
Uncle Grandpa Sings the Classics
Grandpa has an album with a bunch of songs on it. It’s $20 and I want it…
Uncle Grandpa puts up maybe the BEST episode of the season this week. First, the peanut butter song was simply outrageous. Second, anytime I can get Gus to spit rhymes, I’m gonna take it. Also, Adam Devine CRUSHES as Pizza Steve this week. Seriously, this is maybe the first time where Steve got this much air time and if I didn’t know any better I’d say Jack Black was voicing the character. Steve is funny, crass, and filled with cheesy/slick humor. Uncle Grandpa singing the classics was AWESOME with my personal favorites being the Black Metal and Hard Rock renditions…SO GOOD and maybe worth the watch just by itself.
