English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “Plotting”
Overview:
The first-years arrange a super team for the upcoming test, but bad blood runs deep between Utomiya and Hosen.
Our Take:
Yagami, one of the first years, decides to warn Ayanokoji about the two-million bounty on his head. Of course, he already knew, but it was nice of him to give a warning. If I were a betting man, I would say that Yagami is the student from the white room. At the very least, I feel like he’s a sneaky guy who’s up to no good. It’s always the ones that seem super nice that end up being the betrayer in the end. I make it a rule to never trust them or the glasses-wearing types.
Meanwhile, Hozen, Amasawa, and Nanase decide to form a group to take down Ayanokoji for the bounty. I thought Nanase would be on Ayanokoji’s side, but I wouldn’t put it past this show to have some twist involving someone in this group. I hope we get to the exam soon, though, because I would like this season to have some payoff and not only build up. I don’t think we need to worry about Ayanokoji getting expelled anytime soon, though, even if the odds are currently against him.
