Picking up from the previous episode, the war reaches a major turning point as Granville’s plan finally begins to unfold. The conflict quickly escalates, putting several major characters in danger as Luminous struggles to cope. Meanwhile, Rimuru’s confrontation with Yuuki takes an important turn, and Chloe’s mysterious connection to the events adds another intriguing layer to the story.

The rest of the proceedings is packed with action, drama, and some genuinely great moments, particularly for Luminous and Granville, who proves to be a much more formidable threat than expected. However, some of the character decisions feel frustratingly convenient, with certain characters seemingly taking too long to react to what’s happening. Despite that, the episode does a good job building tension and leaving plenty of questions for what comes next.

Overall, this was a wild episode that significantly raised the stakes heading into the next part of the story. The emotional moments hit hard, while the new developments surrounding Granville, Yuuki, and Chloe create plenty of intrigue without giving everything away. Even with some questionable writing choices, the episode delivers a strong cliffhanger that makes it difficult not to be curious about where things go from here.
