English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Welcome, My Immortal Sister”

Overview:

While the monk Jindeng and Master Crispy Noodles face off, Wang Ling’s little sister is about to be born.

Our Take:

I’m not surprised at all that Wang Ling named his clone thing, Master Crispy Noodles, but I do feel like that should be a sign to others. How clueless some of the people around Wang Ling are is crazy to me. Everyone knows how much Wang Ling loves crispy noodles, and this new fighter even looks like Wang Ling, so you would think that some people would realize he’s involved somehow. But only Sun Rong seems to be keen on it, and that’s cause she knows his secret, I think. Though Xiaoyu Lin also seems to have an inkling, maybe guys are just dumb.

One thing that isn’t dumb is Wang Ling having a sister. I think this will be a great addition to the story, and I hope that we get to see more development from him. It’s been nice to see him grow from an emotionless badass to a badass who uses his power to protect people because now he realizes that he cares for them. I feel bad for anyone in the world if they harm Sun Rong, though, because we saw what happened the last time that happened.
