Bill Burr’s North Hill Productions Signs First-Look Deal with Fox Entertainment Studios That Includes Animation Already In Development
Comedian, actor, and director Bill Burr, along with his production company North Hill Productions, has entered into a new first-look deal with Fox Entertainment Studios. The partnership will see Burr and his producing partner Mike Bertolina executive produce and create content for both scripted and unscripted television, with a strong focus on comedy.
According to a statement from Hannah Pillemer, the head of scripted content for Fox Entertainment Studios, the deal is a perfect fit for Fox’s brand of “daring, fresh and undeniably Fox” comedy. North Hill Productions, which was founded in 2024, has a diverse development slate that includes feature films, documentaries, and various television formats in animation of which there are projects in development.
The deal’s first project was Burr’s 2025 Hulu stand-up special, Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years, which received two Emmy nominations. The company is also currently developing a half-hour comedy for Fox based on the life of comedian Earthquake.
