English Dub Review: Flower and Asura “Blue Spring and an Umbrella”
Overview:
Anne is realistic, while Hanna is idealistic; disagreements are inevitable. However, that won’t stop Hanna from trying to befriend her fellow club member.
Our Take:
You might find a story that follows a broadcasting club a little boring, but one thing you’ve got to love about Flower and Asura is that there is character growth. Only five episodes ago, I would have never imagined that Hanna would follow Anne around while trying to convince her to be friends with her. What I’m most proud of is that at first she tried to brute force her way in, but then, when she realized that might not work, she asked for help and tried to see things from Anne’s perspective.
Hanna can’t imagine doing things she doesn’t like to do, even if that means she might not win competitions. Anne wants to win no matter what and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Hanna had a hard time wrapping her mind around that, but when she approached a recitation with a competitive mindset, it helped her see things differently. I wouldn’t call her and Anne friends yet, but I think they’ve at least taken steps to understand each other, and that was nice to watch.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
