English Dub Review: The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows “An Equal Price”

Zenos, an unlicensed healer working in the shadows, works to fix what’s ailing his patients.
Our Take:
Okay… I might be on board now. I’m not always the biggest fan of a harem show but at least so far the reason all the girls love Zenos makes sense. He saved two of them and showed of his prowess to a third. I guess he also showed off to the wraith but mainly she tried to kill him several times and wasn’t able to so now she joins them for tea. I didn’t know that this was going to be one of those stories where the OP main character gets kicked out of his party. I don’t know why but I love stories like that.
The girls joining his harem all are leaders of the “underground” which makes sense because he’s trying to be an underground healer. The way his powers work hasn’t really been explained in a way that I like yet. He says “heal” and whatever problem he needs solved gets fixed. Hopefully we get some more explanation later but considering Zenos is “self-taught” I have a feeling that won’t be the case. At the very least I am more interested now than I was last week.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
