Netflix ‘s Masters of the Universe: Revolution Brings Back Meg Foster To Franchise…In A Different Capacity
Set to launch in 2024, Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revolution continues to methodically bulk up its voice cast. A couple of months ago we told you about Melissa Benoist replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as the voice of “Teela”, now we have the announcement that Meg Foster (formerly Evil-Lyn from the live-action He-Man series) will be returning to the He-Man franchise in the role of “Motherboard”. She joins Mark Hamill (his lines for Skeletor have been recorded already), Melissa Benoist, and William Shatner in an unannounced role.
Motherboard is said to be an evil sorceress with technology as her weapon of choice. Apt to the current times, artificial intelligence techniques are utilized by Motherboard to have sway over the various factions set in Eternia.
‘Masters of the Universe: Revolution’ is an all-new story that brings the focus to He-Man vs. Skeletor like you’ve never seen them before. It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet in ‘Masters of the Universe: Revolution’ – the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
