English Dub Review: The Ancient Magus’ Bride “Birds of a feather flock together. II”

Overview:

Chise shares a meal with her new classmates, but several teachers and students at the College have their eyes on both her and Elias for reasons yet unknown. Chise and Elias head home for the weekend and Stella drops by for a visit.

Our Take:

We’re three episodes in and I still say the best thing I can say about this series is that it’s cozy. This season so far at least, I still need to go back and watch the previous stuff but based on what I’ve heard it might be a little less heartwarming and this is where we have gotten to because of those struggles. But either way, I find myself getting warm and fuzzy feelings when I start watching this.

So far, just like Chise we are getting to know the students of this school. There are a few standouts that could be awesome characters but it’s a bit early to tell. It’s hard to tell in what way the plot is going this early in the season but with Chise and Ruth getting transported somewhere that they don’t know it seems like a main plot could be showing up soon. I just hope Chise isn’t in danger.
