English Dub Review: Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World “The Beautiful Paladin”

Nick learns more about his favorite idol, and discovers a surprising connection between them.

Our Take:

Hmm Agate or Curran? Who should Nick end up with? Does it have relevance to the plot at all? No but I love romance and I’m a sucker for idols so I would like to see Agate but then again he does seem to have a connection with Curran. Honestly, there could be no romance in this series and it really is just pure action but something tells me that won’t be the case.

This episode was entirely backstory for the idol Agate which tells me she might end up being a fairly important character. Otherwise why spend all this time on a character that will just amount to background noise? This could just be wish fulfillment because I want to see more of her. One thing is certain, Nick knows that she was at the casino during that big fight.

There hasn’t been a “main” plot as of yet but with only a few episodes left I imagine that there will be soon with just a few episodes left. So far I would say this series has done its job, I would like to start reading the light novel, which is what most anime’s jobs are.
