English Dub Review: The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! “Druj Is Not Happy!”

Overview:

Jahy-sama has come to help the uncle of the Boss and the Landlord at his sea shack. The uncle’s hip going out, the sudden rain, and the business drought all point to mana crystals. While Jahy-sama wants to immediately jump into recovering them, the beach guests get into accidents and work gets in the way. On another day, Jahy-sama is talking to Druj, but it seems every word is making Druj unhappier. Did all of her lies and deceit get uncovered?

Our Take:

Turns out Jahy is an accidental do-gooder, she saw all the misfortune and knew that a mana crystal had to be nearby. But she ended up helping all the people as well because she didn’t want to deal with the competition. There were a whole lot of shards on the ocean floor so you could say that things are looking up for Jahy in that regard.

Now if I told you that Druj was a masochist how many of you would actually be surprised? Yeah, none of you is what I thought. For some reason, it took Jahy all this time to finally realize it. Now that she has I am sure she will never “disappoint” Druj ever again. Can we get back to the Magical Girl, please?
