FunimationCon 2020: “Fire Force” Cast Discuss the New Season

Fire Force returns for its second season, miraculously on time and perfectly coinciding with Funimationcon, so the returning cast members came together to react to the debut of the first two episodes of the season, which premiered both earlier that day and during the panel. 

Reactions to Season 2, Episode 1: “A Fire Soldier’s Fight”:

Derick Snow (Shinra): As soon as I saw the calendar shoot come up, I knew it was gonna be a good time.
Justin Briner (Sho): I thought it was super cool, it kinda reminds me of going to see the sequel of one of your favorite movies and all your favorite characters have their little moments to shine and show off.
Eric Vale (Arthur): I have repeatedly pitched the idea of having all of the actors do a comparable photo shoot for a calendar but nobody wants to do that for some reason.
Chris Wehkamp (Hinawa): The calendar part was hilarious. The fight was really cool, Fire Force does not play when it comes to the animation of the battles.
