BUBBLEBLABBER ANNOUNCES 2012 EDITORS’ CHOICE AWARDS

After the jump, check out a list of categories for our first annual Bubbleblabber Editor’s Choice Awards! Starting today we will start announcing winners over the next week or so in the following categories. Get a list of the categories after the jump and start sounding off on who YOU think should win!

 

2012 BEST ANIMATED SERIES( TELEVISION)

 

We count down the 10 Best Animated Series on television and then name the Editor’s Choice Award Winner. Selections in this category have to meet the following criteria: 1) Minimum of 5 episodes aired in 2013. 2)  Awards are for prime-time and late-night animated television shows ONLY so don’t bother asking where the hell Adventure Time is as that show is geared towards children. If a show starts to air in prime-time but then changes halfway thru, the series is disqualified from contention..

 

2012 BEST NEW ANIMATED SERIES OF THE YEAR (TELEVISION)

 

We name the best NEW animated series of 2012. For a series to qualify, the show must have premiered its FIRST episode in 2012 on television.

 

2012 BEST ANIMATED SERIES OF 2012(ONLINE)

 

We name the best internet animated series. This is only for shows that have premiered as part of our Webs-Day feature in 2012.

 

2012 BEST ANIMATED SKETCH SERIES(TELEVISION)

 

Award for shows that follow a sketch/shorts format akin to Robot Chicken, MAD, etc

2012  BEST ANIMATED SPECIAL(TELEVISION)

 

Award for best one episode special for an animated series. Ex. The Spongebob Christmas Special
