“Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared” Being Adapted For Television
Adult Swim…are you listening?
Smash-hit British animated web series Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared is being developed into a television series by Conaco and Super Deluxe in a team up with Blink Industries. All of the original web series’ creators and producers will be on hand for the project that is a warped take on Sesame Street that doubles as a parody for children TV shows. The series is a crazy huge success despite not having a new episode in a couple years, probably because the producers realized there wasn’t any money on Youtube and teaming up with Conan who also has Final Space under his belt as proof that he can take a web sensation and turn that into a hit series for other mediums.
Below are some tastes of what to expect from the hopefully picked up soon web series.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
