Comics Review: Rick and Morty : Pocket Like You Stole It #2
This shit’s crazy.

Spoilers Below
This issue sees Morty come upon a “Cat Lady Rick” that has a bunch of Mortys that he has collected that are being raised by cats that are somewhat disturbing. Fortunately, Morty is able to escape and run into a Hippie Rick who prefers to enslave his Mortys peacefully for the purposes of harvests. When Morty decides that he needs to rebel with the other Mortys, but Morty’s gotta deal with the Council of Ricks first.
Our Take
I think this special run of Rick and Morty is a bit more disturbing than other runs, and I’m totally fine with that. If you kids at home are able to keep up with all of the Ricks and Mortys, you’ll like this bit, but if you start having nightmares about a bunch of Mortys acting like cats, I wouldn’t blame you.
SCORE

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
