Next ‘Phineas and Ferb’ movie gets taken off of Disney schedule
Like you didn’t get enough Phineas and Ferb news this month, right?
While most outlets were in a furor over the Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel special that aired the other night on Disney Channel, the house that Mickey built quietly removed the Phineas and Ferb feature-length film from its release schedule for the foreseeable future.
For those who don’t know, there was supposed to be a feature-length Phineas and Ferb movie released at the end of July, but after seeing animated films like Monsters University and Planes get ripped apart by critics and fans alike (Monsters U made a bunch of money, Planes not so much) they decided to push the film back to 2014. However, now according to Deadline.com, the Phineas and Ferb movie has been taken off of any release schedule so all of almost three years of waiting for nothing.
That said we are getting another cross over following the Marvel/Phineas one that just aired because next Summer there will be a Star Wars/Phineas cross over special that I’m sure will fix everything.
In the meantime, Phineas and Ferb episodes are taking a break on Disney Channel and should return Sept 16th.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
