Picking up from the previous episode, we get another action-packed chapter, with Shion and Ranga pushed to their limits against Razul. Shion’s determination really stands out as she reflects on how far she has come and finds the strength to overcome the challenge before her. Meanwhile, the conflict involving Luminous and Granville continues, adding another layer of intensity to an already chaotic situation.

The rest of the proceedings also gives Rimuru’s side of the story more attention as he searches for a way to reach Chloe and Hinata. The scenes involving Rimuru, Chronoa, and Shizu provide a much-needed emotional change of pace after all the fighting, while the episode continues building intrigue around the complicated situation surrounding the three characters. It’s a lot to take in, but the mystery surrounding them makes the upcoming finale even more interesting.

Overall, this was a solid episode that gave Shion a well-deserved spotlight while continuing to move the larger story toward its conclusion. The action was enjoyable, the animation looked particularly good during Shion’s battle, and the more emotional moments helped balance things out. With the finale right around the corner, there are plenty of questions left hanging, making it difficult not to be curious about how everything will come together.
