Picking up from the previous episode, Clevatess finds himself locked in a brutal battle with Vorden while the fake Princess continues her assault on Alicia. Meanwhile, Klen and Vorden’s clash uncovers the ancient land beneath the Mirror Labyrinth and reveals more about the ancient God known as “Toah” and its connection to the world’s curses. The episode then dives deep into Vorden’s past, introducing a man named Write (yes that’s his actual name.), a hero who became an important figure in his history. This flashback provides some major insight into the world’s mythology and the events that shaped the present conflict.

In terms of lore and plot twists, there’s a lot to digest here, as the episode drops a massive piece of the series’ mythology while revealing that the story has secretly contained some unexpected elements all along. The history surrounding Toah, the heroes, and the ancient conflict adds an entirely new layer to the story, while Vorden’s connection to Write gives his character more emotional depth. At the same time, plenty of questions remain unanswered, leaving the world feeling even more mysterious despite everything we learn. Overall, this was an extremely lore-heavy chapter that completely changes how the world and its history can be viewed going into the finale. The revelations surrounding Vorden, Write, and Toah provide plenty of emotional weight while adding even more mystery to an already fascinating world. With several conflicts still unfolding and only one episode remaining, there is clearly a lot left to resolve. Whether the finale can answer all of these questions remains to be seen, but the stage is certainly set for one hell of a conclusion.
