While there are still a few welcome comedic moments to lighten the mood, the latter half shifts into a much darker tone, delivering well-paced suspense and genuine terror as a mysterious new character makes their debut. Combined with the consistently strong animation and voice acting, the darker moments leave a lasting impression.
