English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “Connection”
Overview:
After hearing the watch alarm, Ayanokoji and the others discover the first students to withdraw.
Our Take:
Shinohara’s group encountered some trouble, and by trouble I mean two of them got pushed over a cliff. Nanase thought she spotted someone running off, and it looked a lot like Amasawa. I knew that she had to be up to something because she seemed like the scheming type. I have a feeling that things with Nanase and Ayanokoji are going to come to a head soon. Nanase didn’t mention seeing anyone, and she seems to be having doubts about Ayanokoji being the villain she thinks he is.
This arc has been tough for me to judge. If you recall, I was chomping at the bit to get to the island exam. Now that we’re here, it’s been kind of… boring? It seems like some huge revelations are bubbling under the surface, but so far, nothing has come close to being as exciting as I thought. Ayanokoji tried to enlist the help of Sakayanagi, and she seemed willing to if Ayanokoji was open to owing her a favor. It seemed like he was trying to find another way to solve his problem, but that would have brought some intrigue.
