English Dub Review: Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy “Kanan’s First Date”
Overview:
After catching Kyougi with his old friend, Kanan finds the courage to ask him out on a date that goes awry.
Our Take:
Anime tiddies are awesome, there’s no doubt. We’ve all watched a show at one point or another simply cause of anime tiddies. But when it comes to Kanan, it seems like hers are almost detrimentally huge. They don’t fit her body type at all, and I don’t remember them being that big in the first episode. You might be wondering why I’m spending so much time talking about them, and that’s because they are distracting! I felt like I had to keep rewinding because all I could stare at were her boobs.
It doesn’t please me to admit that to you, but I felt my journalistic integrity demanded honesty. Kanan is still a fun character, at least, and I think I have enough episodes under my belt to say that Corey Pettit does a fantastic job as the devil. There’s something about the way her voice cracks when she gets flustered and upset that is uniquely charming.
Distractingly huge knockers aside, I think this show has wholesome charm to it. Ya know… for a show about a big-titted devil who doesn’t realize she’s fallen in love with a guy who she views as her food.
