English Dub Review: The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom “Blessings on the Teary Bride”
Overview
Is it finally time for Tiararose and Aquasteed’s wedding… but will Icilla ruin the bride’s big day?
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, the story moves toward the long-awaited wedding of Tiararose and Aquasteed. After spending time with her family and receiving a meaningful gift blessed with holy magic, Tiararose returns to Marinforest to prepare for the ceremony. Friends and allies gather to support the couple, and the episode emphasizes how far Tiararose has come since the beginning of the story. What begins as a simple celebration gradually hints at lingering complications tied to the world’s otome-game origins, but the focus largely remains on the anticipation surrounding the marriage and the bonds between the characters.
As the wedding approaches, several characters reflect on their feelings and roles in the larger narrative, creating a mixture of emotional tension and heartfelt support. Akari once again proves to be an unpredictable presence, though her actions ultimately show a clear determination to stand by Tiararose. At the same time, other characters are forced to confront difficult emotions that surface during the ceremony, illustrating how the original “game scenario” still casts a shadow over events. Despite these complications, the moment ultimately highlights the strength of Tiararose and Aquasteed’s relationship and the loyalty of the people around them.
Overall, the episode serves as a milestone for the series, delivering the long-anticipated wedding while shifting the story beyond the constraints of the original game’s narrative. The focus on character relationships and emotional payoff gives the moment a sense of closure, even as subtle hints suggest new challenges waiting beyond the celebration. With the central couple finally beginning their life together, the story appears ready to move into a new phase where the future is no longer dictated by the game’s predetermined path, and with 4 episodes left, I’m curious to see where it goes next!

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
