Oni Hunter X’ Lands at enGEN3 in Partnership With Oni Force and GK Labs

In a major move for the Web3 anime and digital storytelling space, participatory platform enGEN3 has officially formed a strategic partnership with the prominent anime brand Oni Force (part of the 0N1 Force ecosystem) to launch “Oni Hunter X.” The project marks one of the first major “story worlds” to be built on enGEN3’s infrastructure, which is designed to pioneer licensed fan co-creation and revenue sharing.

The announcement, first reported by Variety, coincides with enGEN3 joining the GK Labs ecosystem as an inaugural flagship project, backed by a strategic seed investment from the venture engine.

The Rise of “Oni Hunter X”

Oni Hunter X is set to be a cornerstone of the enGEN3 platform. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the project leverages the gritty, cyberpunk-infused “Naruto meets Star Wars” aesthetic that made Oni Force (0N1 Force) a blue-chip name in the NFT space.

Unlike traditional anime releases, Oni Hunter X is not a passive viewing experience. It is designed as an interactive “story world” where the community doesn’t just watch the lore unfold—they help build it. Through enGEN3’s proprietary infrastructure, fans will be able to engage in licensed co-creation, contributing to the narrative and character development in a way that is legally recognized and financially incentivized.

Participatory Storytelling and Revenue Sharing

The partnership highlights a shift in how entertainment Intellectual Property (IP) is managed. Key features of the enGEN3 platform include:

  • February 2026: Launch of the Creator Partner Programme, inviting select artists and writers to begin shaping the Oni Hunter X universe.

  • March 2026: Early Access release for the enGEN3 platform, allowing the broader community to begin interacting with the story world.

  • Late 2026: Expected full release and distribution of the co-created content.
