English Dub Review: You and I Are Polar Opposites “Summer Night Vibes”
Overview:
Suzuki organizes a study group for their end-of-term exams. She’s happy to see Tani growing closer to her friends. Then, at last, the day of the summer festival arrives.
Our Take:
This might sound a bit hyperbolic, but this show recharges me for the week. Seeing Suzuki and Tani wholeheartedly navigate their new relationship is something that gives me hope and joy to face the week. So far, there haven’t been any hints of a love triangle or anything that could bring the sweetness of this show down. I like that so far, this show is about two people (and their friends) learning how to deal with their first relationship.
Suzuki’s friends aren’t being jerks or anything to Tani, and he’s not acting so awkward that it puts them in a bad spot either. Honestly, the only thing this show hasn’t done for me is introduce some other couples to root for. There’s a girl who works with Tani in the library, and based on the opening, it seems that she’s going to have a crush on Yamada, so that might happen soon. Either way, I’m perfectly happy to continue seeing Suzuki and Tani’s relationship. Suzuki wasn’t as opposed to the thought of kissing as I’m used to seeing from a romance protagonist, which was also refreshing.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
