English Dub Review: You and I Are Polar Opposites “Someone Who Thinks and Someone Who Doesn’t”
Overview:
Yamada is touched by the shy, reserved Nishi’s smile and gradually becomes interested in her. He decides to jump right in and say, “Be my friend!” Little by little, they grow closer.
Our Take:
I had a feeling based on the OP that we would see this happen, and it was just what I needed. Nishi works with Tani in the library. So when Yamada and Suzuki come to visit him, she gets to see them too. When she laughs at the things he says, it endears her to him, and he starts seeking her out in class. Yamada claims he hasn’t caught feelings, but he wants Nishi’s number and to get to know her better, so I think he just hasn’t realized it yet.
Meanwhile, Tani and Suzuki try to have a study date, but the library is packed. So, they decide to go to Tani’s house, where no one is home. You can imagine that this freaks Suzuki out, but they handled it well. I loved it when the grandma came back home, and instead of being a jerk as we see in some shows, she chuckled and teased them. But she sent Suzuki home with some vegetables which meant Suzuki had to finally let her mom know that she has a boyfriend. Once again all interactions were cute and wholesome.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
