Luke and I first saw an early animatic of GAMEOVERSE back in 2017, and were immediately struck by its world-building, creativity and depth. So, when the chance to collaborate on it came up, there was zero hesitation. There is a unique parallel in the way Ross and GLITCH have forged our paths within the indie animation space, and we’re proud to showcase this bold, poignant series to our shared communities. With the release of GAMEOVERSE’s pilot in May 2026, this is Glitch doubling down on our commitment to amplifying passionate indie projects to both our dedicated fanbase and new audiences.”

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
