Disney Teases The Return Of The Muppet Show With Sabrina Carpenter
The curtains are rising once again as Disney+ and ABC gear up for a major revival of a beloved classic. A brand-new teaser trailer for “The Muppet Show” has officially debuted, promising a return to the series’ roots with a modern twist.
A Return to Form
The teaser begins with a nostalgic nod to the past, featuring Kermit the Frog pulling the iconic stage lever to illuminate the theater. Standing before the signature red curtains, Kermit announces that the show is returning to the very stage where it all began. However, in true Muppet fashion, he adds a layer of humorous uncertainty, noting that the continuation of the show “maybe” depends on how the first night goes.
In a move that signals a fresh comedic direction, the video also reveals that Seth Rogen is serving as an executive producer for the project.
Fans won’t have to wait long for the “sensational, inspirational, celebrational” return. The video concludes by announcing that “The Muppet Show” special event will air on Wednesday, February 4th. The program will be available to stream on Disney+ and will also broadcast on ABC.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
