SHE’S BACK! Lord-Castellant Neave Blacktalon Returns as New Episodes Hit Warhammer TV
Get ready to hear the thunder of Stormcast Eternal boots, because the most relentless hunter in the Age of Sigmar is back in action. Warhammer Community has announced that new episodes of the fan-favorite animated series “Blacktalon” are debuting starting December 3rd on Warhammer TV.
This is a massive treat for fans of the Mortal Realms, offering more cinematic, high-stakes action focused on the stoic, vengeance-fueled Lord-Castellant, Neave Blacktalon.
The Scourge of Chaos
For those who haven’t experienced the series, Blacktalon follows the titular hero, a former assassin known for her grim determination and deadly efficiency. She is one of Sigmar’s Stormcast Eternals—warriors who have died and been reforged in Azyr, losing pieces of their humanity with each reincarnation.
Neave Blacktalon’s quest is highly personal: she hunts the demonic forces of Chaos that destroyed her former life. The series offers a gritty, ground-level perspective of the eternal war against the Ruinous Powers, contrasting the shining idealism of the Stormcast with the brutal reality of the battlefield.
Why Blacktalon Works
-
Focused Narrative: Unlike the massive battles depicted in the tabletop game, the animated series excels by focusing on a singular character’s desperate hunt. This intimacy grounds the epic fantasy, making Neave’s victories and losses feel deeply personal.
-
High-Quality Animation: As a key piece of Warhammer’s expanding animation slate, Blacktalon typically features dynamic action and impressive visual effects that bring the highly detailed armor, monstrous Chaos Daemons, and magical environments of the Age of Sigmar to stunning life. The fight choreography is often brutal and uncompromising.
-
Deepening the Lore: The series isn’t just a spectacle; it delves into the grim mythology of the Stormcast Eternals’ reforging, exploring the emotional toll of their near-immortality and the fragmented memories they retain.
The release of new episodes signals Warhammer TV’s commitment to building out its premium content offerings. Fans should clear their viewing schedules and prepare to watch Neave Blacktalon embark on her next perilous mission against the dark gods.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
