English Dub Review: May I Ask for One Final Thing? “May I Ask for One Final Thing?”
Overview
Scarlet is ready to deal her last punch to Terenezza, but she must first overcome a mind-controlled Julius.
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, the finale leans hard into confrontation, blending high-energy clashes with emotional tension as Scarlet refuses to back down even when the odds are stacked against her. What initially appears to be a straightforward showdown quickly becomes a test of conviction, manipulation, and trust, pushing Scarlet and Julius into a situation where brute force alone is insufficient…
What elevates the finale is how it forces Scarlet out of her purely unshakable persona, allowing vulnerability and frustration to surface alongside her trademark fists. Rather than winning through sheer dominance, the resolution emphasizes cooperation, emotional honesty, and the idea that strength can come from reliance as much as defiance. While some elements feel streamlined and certain antagonistic threads remain underexplored, the episode stays true to the series’ tone, loud, comedic, and unapologetically driven by Scarlet’s personality.
Overall, this finale delivers a punch-first, character-driven conclusion that balances chaotic action, aggressive comedy, and flashes of genuine emotional payoff without overcomplicating itself. While not every narrative thread lands cleanly, it stays largely spoiler-free. It succeeds as a fitting capstone to a show defined by its unapologetic tone and force-of-nature protagonist. Messy but sincere, it ends exactly how it should: loud, decisive, and unmistakably Scarlet. If Season 2 becomes a thing, I’d be happy to see more somewhere down the line.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
