English Dub Review: Gachiakuta “Ensign”
Overview
As the battle climaxes, Enjin makes a play to unite his team, and Zodyl makes his final entreaty to Rudo.
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, the story escalates as the colossal trash construct threatens to breach the Sphere, sending Bundus, Bro, and Dear tumbling into its chaotic interior before they crash into a falling car, scramble through a pipe, and eventually reunite with Enjin and Fu; while Bro urges an urgent escape and Dear contacts Semiu at HQ to guide their rescue, while Rudo confronts a pivotal moral moment that forces him to decide what and who he’s truly fighting for…
The episode builds steady momentum as characters are hurled into escalating danger, blending frantic chaos with sharp flashes of teamwork and personality, while Enjin’s emerging leadership signals the approaching final stretch and strengthens the newfound unity forming among the Cleaners; with Semiu, Fu, and others expanding the circle of support around Rudo, and even when tensions spark or motives clash, the cast’s natural chemistry keeps every moment engaging and emotionally grounded.
Overall, this episode delivers a compelling blend of action, humor, and character growth, using rising tension and deepening relationships to highlight themes of loyalty, trust, and teamwork while avoiding any direct spoilers. It serves as a meaningful emotional pivot showing how far Rudo, Enjin, and the rest of the Cleaners have come while reinforcing the bonds and personal breakthroughs that drive them forward. With its mix of suspenseful set pieces, lighter character moments, and steady buildup toward the arc’s climax, the installment maintains strong momentum and keeps viewers invested as the season narrows into its final four episodes.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
