The ‘Smiling Friends’ Pop-Up Brings Big Smiles to Brooklyn
Adult Swim is bringing the comedic world of Smiling Friends to life with a massive, one-of-a-kind pop-up event in Brooklyn, New York. For one weekend only, fans will have the opportunity to step directly into a 40-foot inflatable replica of the iconic Smiling Friends Headquarters.
The installation is set to take place at Empire Ferry Fulton Lawn and will allow guests to enter the headquarters, including the break room, to see their favorite characters in person. Attendees can look forward to interactive spaces, photo opportunities, and character installations featuring Charlie, Pim, Pimling, and Glep.
After posing with the characters, fans can try their luck at a prize wheel for a chance to win exclusive merchandise and figures. For those who want to fully embrace the spirit of the show, a Smiling Friends cosplay meet-up will be hosted on Saturday, November 22, from 9-10 a.m.
The pop-up event runs from November 21 to November 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For fans looking for more animated hijinks, new episodes of Smiling Friends can be watched on Adult Swim and HBO Max.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
