Quentin Tarantino’s Animated ‘Kill Bill’ Sequel, ‘Yuki’s Revenge,’ Premieres Exclusively in Fortnite
In a crossover event that has stunned both cinephiles and gamers, legendary filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is premiering his long-awaited animated sequel to the Kill Bill saga, titled “Yuki’s Revenge,” exclusively within the massively popular video game Fortnite.
More than two decades after the release of Kill Bill Vol. 2, Tarantino has returned to write and direct this final chapter in the film’s chronology, but instead of the silver screen, the action will unfold within the Fortnite engine.
According to a teaser trailer released by Epic Games, “Quentin Tarantino had a dream of a Kill Bill chapter that never made it to the silver screen, a chapter known as ‘Yuki’s Revenge.’ Over 20 years later, Tarantino and Epic have come together to bring the story to life in Fortnite.”
The short film is fully animated using the game’s engine and will even star Uma Thurman, reprising her iconic role.
Premiere Details:
-
When: November 30th at 7 pm GMT / 8 pm CET / 2 pm ET / 11 am PT.
-
Where: Exclusively within Fortnite.
For those who prefer a theatrical experience, the animated short will also be shown in cinemas during upcoming screenings of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, starting December 5th.
Adding to the event, fans who purchase a ticket to the film’s opening weekend will receive a code for an exclusive in-game outfit: Yuki’s Gogo Yubari skin, which can also be unlocked within Fortnite from November 27th to December 1st.
The decision to debut a Tarantino project—even an animated short—within a battle royale game like Fortnite is seen as a remarkable development in the ongoing trend of major entertainment franchises embracing the platform. However, the move has raised some eyebrows, given the original films’ famously non-family-friendly nature, though the trailer suggests the violence will be toned down for the game’s 12/T rating.
Regardless, for Tarantino completionists eager to catch his latest work, the message is clear: the road to “Yuki’s Revenge” runs through the Battle Bus.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
