English Dub Review: My Hero Academia “From Aizawa”
Overview:
Izuku dives deep into Shigaraki’s mind, in search of the villain’s origin: the tragic Tenko Shimura.
Our Take(Spoilers):
I had a feeling that the anime would make things a little easier to follow than the manga. It adds a lot to the final chapters, in my opinion. One of the things I had a hard time following was what exactly All for One had done to Shigaraki. Turns out that every awful thing has been the will of All for One. He gave Shigaraki a lesser version of a quirk that made it so he could only destroy things, and as we know, when his quirk awakened was when his life went to hell. Once I saw what All for One did to Shigaraki definitively in this episode, I was shook.
The Avengers: Endgame moment in this episode was a lot better in the anime as well. Deku was on his last leg, or last arm, I guess, when, Aizawa and all his friends showed up just in time. Kurogiri made a vow to protect Shigaraki, and now I think that might be what we want too. I hope that Deku and Shigaraki team up to take down All for One, once and for all.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
