English Dub Review: May I Ask for One Final Thing? “May I Send This Pig Flying Into the Sky?”
Overview
Scarlet is to accompany Saint Diana’s Holy Land Pilgrimage, but the servants of Palmianism stand in her way.
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, Scarlet and Julius travel to the Holy City as a new chapter unfolds, filled with political tension, divine intrigue, and personal stakes. Their arrival introduces new faces such as Captain Paragas, Knight Dios, and Saint Diana, whose cheerful personality hides deeper struggles tied to her faith. The setting of the Holy Land brings a sense of grandeur and unease, setting the tone for an arc that explores both sacred duty and the human flaws behind divine institutions. Not to mention having two separate religious sects in the same room could potentially spell a recipe for disaster if religious extremists are involved.
The rest of the proceedings shine the most with its character interplay, with Scarlet’s sharp wit and steady resolve once again defining her charm. Her dynamic with Julius strikes a perfect balance between rivalry and affection, while Diana’s boundless energy and warmth add levity to the story’s more introspective tone. Meanwhile, supporting figures like Dios bring humor that offsets the heavier religious and political undercurrents, keeping the tone lively and human.
Overall, this installment delivers a thoughtful blend of world-building, charm, and emotional nuance, carried by strong performances from its main cast. It deepens Scarlet’s journey without relying on spectacle, using subtle moments of connection and faith to push the story forward. And for those who stick around after the credits, a brief but fun post-credits scene provides a lighthearted laugh perfectly capping off an episode that balances heart, humor, and intrigue in equal measure.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
