English Dub Review: Bad Girl “Shijimi and Hotate / Bool! / I’ve got you now!”

Overview:

Head library assistant Kiyoraka is a faultless honor student. However, she has an unexpected hidden side and takes an interest in Yuu.

Our Take:

I’m glad that Suzu noticed that it was starting to seem like Yuu wasn’t being bad anymore. Once she brought it to her attention, Yuu had to explain that using paper clips as earrings was causing her pain and headaches. Suzu decides to help her keep up her “bad girl” ways, but Yuu brings in another idea. In Japan, it’s illegal, or at the very least frowned upon, to have two people ride a bike together. Yuu wants to take Suzu on a bike ride with her, only there’s one problem: she doesn’t know how to ride a bike. She eventually learns, but it took the wind out of her plans to a degree.

A new character was introduced, and she might end up being my favorite. Kiyoraka is in the same class as Atori and now has her sights set on Yuu. I’m loving Kiyoraka as a character so far because she seems to be a yandere, and I love that character archetype. I’m not sure I’ve seen one in the context of a yuri show, but I’m looking forward to more of this character.
