English Dub Review: Tougen Anki “Even the Loner Path Has Its Limits”
Overview:
The undead attack the students, and Shiki is forced to make a decision that will change his mind.
Our Take:
I’m getting tired of having to talk about technical issues when it comes to Crunchyroll. It’s a good thing that Tougen Anki is on multiple platforms. I have been watching Crunchyroll, but the dub for this week’s episode isn’t on there, so I have to watch it on Netflix. I also heard that the Amazon Prime version is available as well, so if you’re following this show and you’ve been watching on Crunchyroll, I thought I would give you that information.
I enjoyed this episode in particular a lot because we got to see some emotion and maybe some growth from Shiki. Since he can’t fully control his blood powers yet, he was given a handgun to use in case things went bad. As we know, things went badly, and he had to use the gun.
Shiki was upset because all of the people he used his gun on were people who were already dead. He was upset that these people had individuals who mattered to them, and they mattered to others as well. I couldn’t help but agree with him, and this would turn me into a “villain” too. I was glad he mentioned what was on my mind last week, in the way that the demons are portrayed as the bad guys, but who are the ones doing the bad things?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
