Recap: SDCC2025: Comedy Central Adult Animation Panel – Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Mike Judge, and Andy Samberg
On Thursday evening, the all-star creators and cast behind South Park, Beavis and Butt-Head, and Digman! packed the iconic 6,000-seat Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con for Comedy Central’s Adult Animation Panel.
The event featured a rare SDCC appearance from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone — their first in nearly a decade — alongside Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge and Digman! star and co-creator Andy Samberg.
Moderated by Josh Horowitz (Happy Sad Confused), the panel served up behind-the-scenes stories, exclusive previews, and plenty of laughs as the animation legends reflected on 30+ years of groundbreaking comedy and teased what’s next for their beloved series.
Fans can also immerse themselves in the South Park universe all weekend long at a massive, free activation located at Quartyard (1301 Market St, San Diego, CA 92101).
The experience includes interactive photo moments, fan favorite episodes and behind the scenes screenings, giveaways, exclusive merch, cosplay contests, trivia, karaoke and more – Reservations and more information here.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
