English Dub Review: New Saga “The Hero’s Conditions”

Overview:

Kyle sets about making preparations for his heroic journey and the fight to come.

Our Take:

It’s only the second episode and we’ve already had a kiss with Liese and a second lover introduced. Kyle saw the elf Urza while shopping. Apparently, he knows her true name because in the future they would fall in love. They obviously haven’t met yet so she freaked out about him knowing the name. Now it seems like this will be a harem show but with the timeline being different I wonder how things will change. In the future Kyle and Urza become lovers but that might now happen since Liese is still alive. But of course another girl is introduced at the end of the episode.

Romantic implications aside, I think it’s a cool fantasy story so far. I hope that at least one person finds out about Kyle essentially being from the future. Since he has knowledge from a future that hopefully no one else will see he decides to make a stop to where a legendary treasure is with his new party. He knows right where it is and I think that will be a great first step to him becoming a hero before the invasion happens.
