English Dub Review: From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! “Dad Celebrates at the Campus Festival”
Overview:
The Elegance Cheat has a fatal flaw: Grace, aka Kenzaburo, can’t perform without everything becoming unnecessarily fancy!
Our Take:
I’ve enjoyed this show, but I have to be honest: I’m a little disappointed with how it ended. On the bright side, we finally got to see Grace’s mother’s face, but even that left more questions. This is a fun, cute show, and there was never any doom or gloom that came up, and while some people might not like that, I found it refreshing. My main problem was the fact that there were a couple of questions that arose in this episode, and with it being the final one, I don’t think we’re going to get those answers. I know having this problem with EVERY anime I watch might be annoying, but I’m sure I’m not the only person this annoys, and if this is a deal breaker for you, then I feel I owe it to readers to let them know.
The biggest question I have is, what is going on with Grace’s father and Anna’s mother? They locked eyes in a crowd, and she shushed him, then she disappeared. Is he perhaps Anna’s actual father? Or is it something more innocent than that? Better read to find out, I guess. Same with the fact that Grace’s mother has a fairy, and it seems that if she embraces Grace, it will come undone. What could that spell be? Gotta read! So annoying.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
