English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “Look! The Dragon Keepers!”
Overview
A mysterious being known as Hwalipon hijacks multiple screens to tell the public the truth about the Blue Keeper’s death. Meanwhile, the Rangers have another Sunday Showdown but are out of sync…
Our Take
The new season picks up right where the season one finale left off, diving straight back into the murky world of moral ambiguity, emotional instability, and questionable alliances. With the fallout from Blue Keeper’s absence, tensions within the Dragon Keepers are running high. The Red Keeper’s descent into madness, which to put it mildly has become even more volatile, with a blatant disregard for the very people he’s supposed to protect…
Later on during the proceedings, new characters and odd alliances begin to surface, including a suspicious outsider whose sudden inclusion shakes up the internal power dynamics. While some familiar faces struggle to find their place in the violent aftermath, others appear disturbingly comfortable despite the carnage and confusion.
Overall, this premiere balances recap and progression well, while helping people get up to speed. With its unsettling character dynamics, crazy plot twists, and unique tonal blend, Season 2 has one hell of a good start as it consistently continues to deliver a twisted yet compelling take on Power Rangers, and hopefully, it keeps this momentum going!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
