English Dub Review: Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! “Girls of the Wandering Woods”
Overview
The group is caught up in a new forest labyrinth. Tama and Aria are excited to explore an untouched Earth said to be full of rare materials and rarer treasure chests…
Our Take
This episode picks up where the previous one left off, as Aria’s party is sent on a journey through dangerous terrain towards a mansion called “Gladstone” while escorting a mysterious cargo. Along the way, they encounter strange allies and hostile threats that expand the world’s magical rules, introducing items that unlock powerful abilities and teasing the rise of larger conflicts while balancing out the fanservice and humor that keeps the adventure feeling unpredictable.
During the rest of the chaotic proceedings, the spotlight lands on several new characters, whose interactions blend comedy with subtle emotional weight. And helps add energy and mystery, while hints about one character’s deeper motivations suggest a more personal story unfolding beneath the surface near the end…
Overall, this episode wasted no time adding even more new characters after Stella, and some unraveling plot development, though the pacing may feel slow in places. There’s a growing sense that something bigger is brewing beneath the surface, but for now, the focus remains on party dynamics, magical discoveries, and flirtatious fun. And given the new mystery that’s happening I hope the twist unravels into a good payoff.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
