English Dub Review: Bye, Bye Earth “Entreaty: A Paradise that Entrusts Death”

Overview:

Gwyn’s talk of a “Paradise Shift” in Schwert Land and the secrets of the castle stirs new doubts in Belle.

Our Take:

I’m going to level with you all, I have no clue what is going on. I would tell you it’s because I’m bad at my job because my self-confidence isn’t great. But everytime I look online I see that everyone else has no clue either. It’s a fascinating world and the ideas behind it are interesting as well but I’m not sure what else to tell you. Belle is the only character so far that looks like a “normal” human and that makes her an outcast but again… I can’t tell you why.

The animation and voice acting is done well. One thing I’ve noticed with the two episodes so far in the second season is that when a character mentions a term that we might not know there is a definition of sorts that appears on-screen. Maybe if they would have done something like that in the first season most of us wouldn’t be as lost as we are. I haven’t seen any of the terms I don’t know from the first season get definitions but that would sure be helpful.
