Mark Wahlberg Leaks A Potential Return To Seth MacFarlane’s “Ted”
Mark Wahlberg loves taking selfie videos of himself and posting them wherever the hell people watch. For me, it’s Instagram, and this recent one promoting his Municipal brand (he has like a dozen brands to promote at any given time) seems to have leaked an important note of information that may be coming down the pike.
You’ll notice this screen cap from a video posted the other day a script for Ted is laying on the table as Mark is getting ready to scarf down whatever that box is filled with (seriously, are those donuts? I have no idea). Whether or not this is for the upcoming season season of Ted or the rumored animated series or maybe even a third film to complete the Ted film trilogy is unknown at the moment, but it does seem to indicate that the box office draw is returning in some capacity to the blockbuster franchise that he helped front on two separate occasions.
For those that don’t know, Mark portrayed the role of “John” a rental car associate who is just living his life with his best friend, a teddy bear brought to life named “Ted” voiced by Seth MacFarlane. Since the two featured films that grossed north of $700 million, Ted has since become a live-action series for Peacock that was the streamer’s most-watched original series since the streamer’s launch. The series garnered rave reviews and was renewed for a second season which just wrapped filming in January.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
