English Dub Review: Medalist “Western Powerhouses (Part Two)”
Overview:
After a smooth start, Inori takes each jump carefully, one by one. She controls her center of gravity and maintains a high speed, and Tsukasa cannot hide his excitement as she continues with her flawless performance.
Our Take:
I need to figure out how to get my emotions in check when I watch this show every week. I don’t know what it is about a good sports anime that gets me caught up in the feels, when I see Inori giving her best no matter what and Tsukasa supporting her just as fiercely, I can’t help but shed some tears. She might not have won this time but that’s because the person who got first place skated just a little bit better, not because Inori messed up or anything.
Tsukasa continues to prove why he’s such an awesome coach. While coming off the ice, Inori trips and sprains her ankle, but she mentions that she’s been having pain in her shins as well. Fearing that this might be shin splints, Tsukasa instructs Inori that they’re going to take it easy and rest for a while. It’s never easy to not compete but to avoid a major injury I think Tsukasa is making the right call.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
