Two Black Boys in Paradise Releases Teaser Trailer Ahead Of Festival Run

A nine-minute short film called Two Black Boys in Paradise is getting ready to launch it’s festival run and to help announce this the producers have released a new teaser below.

Eden (19) and Dula (18) are two Black boys on a journey of self-acceptance. Their love for each other, and their refusal to hide it, lands them in a paradise free from shame and judgement.

Produced by One6th and funded by the BFI, this captivating project received early development support from actor Ian McKellen and draws inspiration from the poignant words of award-winning poet and author Dean Atta, who not only serves as a co-writer but also assumes the role of Executive Producer.

Actor and musician Jordan Stephens (Rouge One, Tucked) lends his voice as the narrator with actor Arun Blair-Mangat (Kinky Boots, In the Heights) providing non-verbal sounds for the film.
