English Dub Review: Loner Life in Another World “Life With the Girls”

Overview:

Life together with rambunctious girls is a little awkward.

Our Take:

I honestly thought Haruka accidentally using his subjugation skill would be a bigger deal than it was. But surprisingly everyone handled the situation with maturity, for the most part. There was the occasional blowup about him acting weird, of course, but once they found out he had a big nice house, then their tune changed. When they saw he had a bath, then all reason was lost as most of them stripped down immediately. Once again I was surprised that he wasn’t beaten up for looking even if he had no control over the situation.

Once they’d spent a couple of days enjoying modern life and gaining some levels, they decided to go to town. This was when I began to notice that this isekai is a bit different from most others. In most isekai, we see the hero start in some non-descript looking town that you could find in any fantasy novel. It’s a bit surprising that we’re three episodes in and everyone has been spending all this time in the forest. I have to admit, if I were Haruka I wouldn’t want to go anywhere after building such a nice house.
