English Dub Review: You are Ms. Servant “Your Prayers are Gods’ Prayers.”
Overview
After realizing his feelings for Yuki, Hitoyoshi places a distance between himself and the Maid. Yuki finds herself crying nonstop, feeling rejected and incompetent with everything she does. With Naka’s help, will Yuki be able to sort out her feelings?
Our Take
Hitoyoshi finds himself grappling with complicated emotions in this episode, particularly as his feelings toward Yuki become harder to ignore. His struggles with understanding his emotions lead to some awkward moments, and sort of felt forced as an excuse why things can’t be as what audiences would typically expect. Yet you understand where his feelings stem from, and they aren’t pleasant…
At the same time, Yuki faces challenges of her own, leaning on a close friend for support during a reflective and emotional journey. And the cliffhanger ending left me with more questions than answers in regards to someone who’s paying a visit to the house.
Overall, while most of this felt a bit contrived, the episode captured the emotional highs and lows of two people navigating their feelings for each other and what love means to both of them. The mix of heartfelt moments, introspection, and a touch of humor sets the stage for next week’s season finale which hopefully promises to bring a resolution in some capacity…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
