English Dub Review: Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War “The Visible Answer”

Overview:

Kyoraku has paved the way for the Soul Reapers to reach the enemy’s stronghold.

Our Take:

I know, I know! It feels like I’ve been complaining about Ichigo not doing anything in the show for a long time now. While he didn’t do much in this episode either I would trade him doing nothing for Yoruichi doing all she did every day of the week. I mean seriously, I knew she was powerful but I had no idea she could do half of what she showed today. I also didn’t know she would dress like that… but that’s a story for a different time.

All jokes aside, she is one of my favorite characters and if I can’t see Ichigo be a badass then I will gladly take getting to see Yoruichi kick some ass. I felt bad that her brother got bodied the way he did but if I had to guess this would lead to her finding a new power level like we usually see in anime like this. Bleach usually has some of the best battles but right now they’re feeling a little predictable and not in the usual fun shonen way. But in better news, one of the Stahlritters thinks Uryu is a traitor so maybe I’ve been right all along.
