Overview
In search of those who hold the secret to the Perfect Strike, Andy and her friends are caught in a town divided by grudges and differing philosophies.
Our Take
I hope I’m wrong because I’m a little concerned that with only four episodes left that Invincible Fight Girl is going to be nowhere close to achieving her goal of being a champion-level wrestler without some serious cramming which has me thinking that either A) the last four episodes may get rushed in the story line department or B) the producers are REALLY banking on an additional ten episodes being produced that would give enough fans salivating from the conclusion of this show’s first season to clamor for more, the latter of which is already working.
It seems as though the first season of Invincible Fight Girl season one’s whole carrot of which it is inching towards is to just convince Aunt P to take Andy under her wing for training to become the best wrestler in the world. Clearly Aunt P has no interest but her wager is still on for Andy to learn the perfect strike which brings us to our very obvious sidequest that is the kids going into some strange town to learn the secrets of said move only to discover that there’s another underlying issue we need to attend to first before we get anything done, not the least of which is the uncovering of a domestic terrorist on our hands.
As mentioned with only four episodes left in the season it will be interesting to see how we wrap this side quest that would then hopefully lend itself to completing the first season’s mission which, if you think about it, is just one big sidequest for Andy to eventually get into the actual wrestling tournaments that encompasses Wrestling World’s mystique. That said, I’m still pretty hooked and week in and week out we get solid voice acting contributions, this week from Dana Snyder. Whether or not this all leads to another season remains to be seen, but we’re sort of getting down to the wire.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
