Disney+ Loads Up Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Trailer
Peter Parker is on his way to becoming a hero, but his path to get there is anything but ordinary. As noted in this new official trailer for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man which is slated to premiere on January 29th streaming only on Disney+.
The Jeff Trammell-created series isn’t considered to being canon with the MCU but with ten episodes on the way with another season in development it looks as though that doesn’t seem to bother Disney/Marvel. The series already features a stacked cast featuring some new and returning cast of characters including Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn. That last casting bit is an odd flex but here we are.
To be fair, there’s no chance Jeff Trammell could fuck up this show more than what Sony’s MCU has done with the cavalcade of Spider-Man villains that the company thought could make for blockbuster films. Whilst Sony’s CEO can blame the critics all they want, perhaps if they focused on making quality as opposed to shepherding Spider-Man characters like sheep, Sony wouldn’t have the collection of Spidey-bombs it collected in the last year.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man also kicks off a 2025 year of Disney+ animated titles inspired by that you can see a full rundown of here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
